We will explore medieval cities of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur which together makes Kathmandu Valley. It is believed that Kathmandu was once submerged deep in lake and the great Buddhist Saint Manjushree drained the lake by slitting hills and draining water. He was the one who established first settlement in Kathmandu. Buddhist and Hindu Religion is often intertwined here. Typically, the land of Newars, the medieval architecture in Kathmandu is unmatched by anywhere else in Nepal. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
After you disembark from the plane, you will have to go through custom formalities. Later, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to hotel for your luxurious stay. You will get briefing from your tour leader. Enjoy the welcome dinner. 

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast, guide will take you for wonderful Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour during which you will visit UNESCO sites like Pashupatinath, Swayambhu, Bouddhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Kathmandu is the wonderful city where culture is embedded in the daily life of people. Pashupatinath is one of the holiest Hindu temple in the world. Swayambhunath is the oldest Buddhist stupa and Bouddhanath is the largest stupa. Bouddhanath is located in ancient trade route between Nepal and Tibet and it is in Bouddhanath that you should be if you want to experience Tibetan life in Kathmandu. Pashupatinath temple is located at the bank of Bagmati River where we can observe Hindu crematorium ceremony. Swayambhunath means self-existing. It was discovered more than 2500yrs back. 

Day 03: Kathmandu to Chitwan
Chitwan is located 160km far from Kathmandu. We will take a tourist coach from Kathmandu to Chitwan early in the morning. We will reach Chitwan in 5hrs. We will visit Tharu community in the evening to watch cultural dance. Stay overnight in a hotel.

Day 04: Chitwan Jungle Activities
Early in the morning, we will start Chitwan exploration. This is the first National Park of Nepal. We will explore the dense sal forest and witness more than 500 species of mammals including wild boar, Bengal tiger, Rhinoceros, Musk Deer and Monkeys. It also holds several varieties of floras, amphibians and reptiles. You can select from canoeing, jungle walk, elephant riding and jeep safari to explore Chitwan jungle. Elephant riding offers advantage of height and allows better views of wildlife. Canoeing in Rapti River allows views of crocodiles.   

Day 05: Chitwan to Kathmandu
Chitwan is located 160km far from Kathmandu. It takes approximately 4hrs of driving in a private vehicle to reach Kathmandu. From Narayanghat, we will follow East- West Highway to Kathmandu. You will be transferred in a hotel for overnight stay.    

Day 06: Patan and Bhaktapur Sightseeing
Drive to Patan Durbar Square early in the morning. Patan or Lalitpur is known as City of Fine Arts. We will visit famous shikhara style Krishna Temple, Taleju Temple, Vishwanath Temple, Rato Machhindranath Temple and Ashok stupa. Later, we will drive to Bhaktapur which is known as City of Devotees. We will visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Nyatapol Temple, Pottery Square, fifty-five window palace and Golden Gate are major attractions in Bhaktapur Durbar Square. We will return to Kathmandu for overnight stay.

Day 07: Departure
You will be dropped off at Tribhuvan International Airport approximately 3hours before your flight. Have a safe journey. We hope to see you soon.
