Langtang is described as one of the most beautiful valley in the world. Langtang is the third most visited trek region. This is also the closest trek region from Kathmandu. Existing to the north of Kathmandu, Langtang Valley Trek is a refreshing journey that acquaints you with natural and cultural wealth of Nepal. Trekking in Langtang Valley falls in easy to moderate grade. We will pass through small passes, rivers, forest of blooming rhododendrons and small and big settlements of Sherpa and Tamang ethnics.  

We offer Langtang Valley Trek itinerary as 10-days package. You will get an opportunity to explore UNESCO sites in Kathmandu before leaving Kathmandu and heading north to Langtang. The journey continues through swirling road with great views of mountains and terraced fields to Trishuli. We will take lunch in Trishuli and drive to Syabrubesi. Langtang trek begins from Syabrubesi. We will pass through Lama Hotel to Langtang Village and visit Kyangjin Gompa and Tserko Ri Mountain. We will retrace the Langtang Village trekking route and return to Syabrubesi before driving back to Kathmandu.

Langtang is located near to Tibet and thus its culture is influenced by the neighboring Tibetans. Langtang National Park is famous for being the habitat of threatened species- Red panda. Day01: Kathmandu Arrival (1300m)
After you disembark from the plane, you will have to go through custom formalities. Later, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to hotel for your luxurious stay. You will get briefing from your tour leader. Enjoy the welcome dinner.
 
Day02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
After breakfast, guide will take you for wonderful Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour during which you will visit UNESCO sites like Pashupatinath, Swayambhu, Bouddhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Kathmandu is the wonderful city where culture is embedded in the daily life of people. Pashupatinath is one of the holiest Hindu temple in the world. Swayambhunath is the oldest Buddhist stupa and Bouddhanath is the largest stupa. Bouddhanath is located in ancient trade route between Nepal and Tibet.

Day03: Drive to Syabrubesi (1550m)
We will leave Kathmandu after breakfast. This is going to be a scenic journey which offers close-up views of north-western hills, terraced fields and primitive villages. We will take lunch at Trishuli Bazar and follow bumpy road to Dhunche. Journey continues further to Syabrubesi.

Day04: Trek to Lama Hotel (2380m)
Langtang Valley trek begins on this day. We will follow the descending trail to Langtang River. We will cross rhododendron forest and cross suspension bridge. The trail continues further through tea houses to Lama Hotel.  

Day05: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3430m)
We will take breakfast and choose the escalating trail through valley. The path stretches through tree line. We can get scenic view of Langtang Lirung for most of the day. We will traverse water mills and chortens and reach Langtang Village where we will stay overnight.  

Day06: Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3870m)
We will explore Langtang village on this day. We will cross pasture field and walk along mani walls and chortens. We need to cross wooden bridges at several points before reaching Kyangjin Gompa. We can get scenic views of glaciers and icefalls from Kyangjin Gompa.

Day07: Side trip to Tserko Ri, Back to Lama Hotel
We will take rest in Kyangjin Gompa. We can take side trip to Tserko Ri (5000m). Tserko Ri offers spectacular sunrise view. We will take lunch and return to Lama Hotel. The trail is mostly descending. We will cross forest, river, small passes and Tamang villages. Stay overnight in Lama Hotel.

Day08: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi
Leave Lama Hotel and descend to Syabrubensi. We will reach Syabrubesi in about 5 hours. Langtang Valley trek ends in Syabrubesi. We need to pass rhododendron forest and cross river at few points to reach Syabrubesi. 

Day09: Drive from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu
We will leave Syabrubesi and drive back to Kathmandu. You are on your own today. You can go for shopping in Thamel or spend your day around Kathmandu Durbar Square. Stay overnight in hotel in Kathmandu.

Day10: Departure
You will be dropped off at Tribhuvan International Airport approximately 3hours before your flight. Have a safe journey. We hope to see you soon.
