The aircraft will leave Domestic Airport and head north. Shisha Pangma (8013m) is the first mountain that comes into view followed by Dorje Lakpa Mountain (6966m). Dorje Lakpa is a scenic mountain resembling the shape of figure eight that exists in the eastern edge of Langtang National Park. Similarly, we can get unobstructed views of Phurbi Ghyachu (6637m) and Choba Bhamare(5970m) Peaks. These peaks are also known as virgin peaks of Nepal as no climbing attempt has been made in these mountains so far. Phurbi Ghyachu exists to the right side of Dorje Lhakpa mountain. Views of other mountains include Gauri Shankar Mountain (7134m) - named after Lord Shiva and his consort Gauri as it is believed to be the home of these gods. Flying along Gauri Shankar, flight continues to Melungtse Mountain (7181m) which is the mountain with the topography that resembles plateau. We can get view of never climbed before mountain- Chug Imago (6297m) before heading for Rolwaling range. Rolwaling is one of the remotest region of Nepal and it is also known for being the place of origin of maoist insurgency. After witnessing the breathtaking glimpse of Rolwaling Mountain, we will fly ahead to enjoy views of Numbur and Karyolung peak. Along with mountain views, Sherpa life can also be viewed in this region. We can see eight thousanders like Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Makalu and Kanchenjunga before enjoying memorable flight close to Mount Everest and making return trip back to Kathmandu Airport.
