Kathmandu and Pokhara are two major touristic cities that receives most of the visitors. Decorated with medieval architecture, Kathmandu is known as the city of temples. Pokhara is the beautiful and peaceful city which is also popular among tourists as the gateway of Annapurna region. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha- founder of Buddhism.  
Serabung Adventure organizes Kathmandu Pokhara Lumbini Tour itinerary as 8-days package. The tour begins with sightseeing in Kathmandu whereby you will be taken to the UNESCO sites in Kathmandu including Pashupatinath, Swoyambhunath, Bouddhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Later, we will travel in a tourist bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Pokhara is separated from Kathmandu by a distance of 200km and it can be accessed via Prithvi Highway. We will begin Pokhara tour with hike to Sarankot Hill. Sarankot is famous for its sunrise view. We will also enjoy close-up views of Annapurna, Manaslu, Fishtail and other mountains and begin our Pokhara tour. We will take the tour of Seti Gorge, David’s Fall, International Mountaineering Museum and Gupteswor Cave before heading to Lumbini. From Pokhara, we will follow Siddhartha Highway to Lumbini. Learn about the history and archeology of Buddhists and get the celestial sense in peaceful garden. Visit Mayadevi Temple, Ashoka pillar, Puskarini Pond and explore archaeological sites before returning to Kathmandu. January to May and September to November are best season for Kathmandu Pokhara Lumbini tour.

Day01: Arrive in Kathmandu
After you disembark from the plane, you will have to go through custom formalities. Later, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to hotel for your luxurious stay. You will get briefing from your tour leader. Enjoy the welcome dinner.

Day02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
After breakfast, guide will take you for wonderful Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour during which you will visit UNESCO sites like Pashupatinath, Swayambhu, Bouddhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Kathmandu is the wonderful city where culture is embedded in the daily life of people. Pashupatinath is one of the holiest Hindu temple in the world. Swayambhunath is the oldest Buddhist stupa and Bouddhanath is the largest stupa. Bouddhanath is located in ancient trade route between Nepal and Tibet.

Day03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara
Leave Kathmandu from Thankot checkpoint and follow Prithvi Highway for 5hrs to Pokhara. The journey will be scenic with views of Trishuli River, cable car, green hills and Marsyangdi River. Stay overnight in Pokhara. 

Day04: One Day Tour in Pokhara
Wake up early in the morning. Travel to Sarankot hill for sunrise view. Sarankot Hill also offers views of Manaslu, Hiunchuli, Annapurna Mountain Range and Machhapucchre Mountain. Pokhara Tour begins after breakfast. Explore Seti Gorge. Visit David’s Fall. Stop by International Mountaineering Museum and step in to Gupteswor Cave. We will engage in boating in Phewa Lake in the evening.  

Day05: Drive from Pokhara to Lumbini
Follow Siddhartha Highway and cover 203 km in about 4hrs to reach Lumbini. After checking in hotel, we will visit Lumbini garden. Lumbini is the UNESCO site that is visited by thousands of Buddhists pilgrims each year. Visit Puskarini Pond. Ashoka Pillar is another highlight of Lumbini. Explore the monastic zone and get scenic views of Royal Thai Monastety, Chinese Monastery, Vietnam Phat Quoc Tu, The Great Lotus Stupa of Germany and Myanmar Monastery.

Day06: Sightseeing in Lumbini
After breakfast, we will drive to Tilaurakot which is the ancient palace of King Suddodha. Visit Kapilvastu Museum and explore architectural sites in Tilaurakot.    

Day07: Lumbini to Kathmandu
Take early morning flight from Bhairahawa to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel. You can spend the day on your own. Enjoy farewell dinner with cultural show in the evening.

Day08: Departure
You will be dropped off at Tribhuvan International Airport approximately 3hours before your flight. Have a safe journey. We hope to see you soon.
